Our guide, Ruth, was absolutely amazing! Her knowledge of the river, the canyon, and its history made the trip truly fascinating. We did a 2 day trip down the Salmon, with an overnight camp halfway. She and our Gear Boat guide, Josh, cooked us fantastic meals. The Dutch oven chocolate chip pull-apart dessert was THE BEST!  Top notch, well-maintained equipment, paired with their absolute commitment to safety gave us the comfort to fully enjoy every part of the trip; especially the fast water parts. Such a fun friend group activity! The day trip adventure was superb. They provided a great lunch. They gave clear rafting instructions, felt safe the entire time. This was a 5 star day. The weather was great. The water was fast and slow. This was a raffle won trip and it was SPOT ON! Our guide Ruth was fun/informative and friendly! She engaged in conversation with all the folks on the raft. Offered tips on how to operate the raft and was energetic enough to hop in the water a show us how to get back in the raft. Ruth. We did a multi-day trip on the Salmon River in July 2026, and it was simply amazing; a life-changing experience. The river is beyond beautiful, and the rapids were sooo fun. Our guides (Kallen, Ben, and Harlen) were the best. They worked from 5 AM to 11 PM to make this a special experience for all of us. Take yourself, your family and your friends to the banana belt of Idaho and enjoy an absolute gem that is Wild River Adventures in Riggins. Our rafting experience was truly incredible and I can't say enough good things about it... but I will try. The staff are accommadting, knoweldgable and capable. This is a great activity for people of all ages, our group had varying levels of experience with river rafting and everyone walked away giddy for more and yet completely satisfied. I was impressed at how well thought out each aspect of the tour was and depending on how long or adventurous you would like to get on the Salmon river I guarantee you can find what you need here. Our guides were Ruth, Benji and Matt who were all fabulous but I don't think you can go wrong with any of the guides. Be warned that if you laugh too much and smile too openly you may drink some river water but I consider it the price of a great time! I hope you get blessed like we did to see some majestic bald eagles while you enjoy a truly beautiful part of the country! Wow, where do I start? Our float was amazing!  Our guide Keenan was excellent & very skilled going down the river!! Keenan & Benji were a lot of fun & very respectful young men. Together they both made our float a wonderful experience! This was the first time down the river for 3 of us & even though a few of us were a little scared Kennan put us at ease. The whole experience was top notch & we would do it again in a heartbeat!! 💓 Thank you, thank you  for an unforgettable experience !! We did a half day trip with Wild River on the Lower Salmon River. It was a perfect amount of rafting for our family of 6, kids from age 5 to 12. Our guide, Matt, told us stories and facts about the river as we went and made the trip fun and interactive for the kids. There were opportunities to jump out of the boat and swim and play. Matt did a great job of explaining the safety aspects of rafting and communicating the intensity of the rapids and picking lines that were not too intense for the younger kids that were a little nervous at first. It would be fun to go back without little kids and raft the same stretch of river. Wild River also had a photographer staged at one of the rapids to take pictures which turned out amazing! We have done the Riggins float about 3 times with Wild River. Everytime over the years has been excellent. But I do have to say this was one of the best times we have haf riding these waves. And the crew was excellent Thank you so much for showing us such a good time.

Did the overnight trip from Carrie Creek to Lucille for a bachelor party and could not have had a better time. Our guides Allan and Ben made killer food, picked out good beaches to hang out at, and made the trip amazing. 10/10 recommend this adventure and those guides. Thanks Allan, Ben, and co!

We were out on a Bachelor trip and we had a really good time. Our guides Alan and Ben were awesome. They made sure we made the best of the rapids on the river and camp when we pulled off. They even joined in some spoke all and frisbee and answered all of our obnoxious questions. 10/10 would recommend to a friend and if you get them for guides just know your trip is going to be awesome.

Booking and information was easy. We spoke to Matt who is very friendly and great with customer service. He patiently answered all of questions and concerns. Our guide was Alan, and the Safety was run by Ruth. This was our 13 year olds first river rafting adventure.  They company outfitted us very well. They supplied everything we needed to stay warm and safe. The instruction for our boys was fun and thorough.  Our guide Alan is very kid friendly and aware of how to read kids. Kudos, and great job! It was a spur of the moment decision to go rafting that day.  It was already noon and they were doing one last trip for the day in 10 minutes.  We got on the river 20 minutes later and it was a blast.  They were great all around.

Been on a lot of rafting trips in the area and globally and the Salmon is by far the best river you need to experience if you live close to Idaho. Also the team at Wild River and their kindness, professionalism, care, and love for others and the outdoors blew me away. Super fun. Good for all ages. Challenging if you want it to be.  You can take inflatable duckies down. Gera was our best guy ever this year.  Took some really cool alternate routes.  For the less daring you can ride on that big inflatable raft. My kids started when they were five and they are still doing it at 32

Ben was our guide on Friday morning and we had a great time. He was a wealth of knowledge on the river and its history.. The company and equipment used were all top tier and we would definatley use them again. We only had time for a half day but hope to come back for a 3 day.
